Addition and Alteration of existing house at Curtis Crescent, King City, ON

Client commissioned EIDS Consultants to carry design modifications to existing house including construction of elevated wood deck at rear end of the house. Avoiding the excavation for foundation of the deck was one of the requirements. To achieve that, helical piers were proposed as foundation system considering the light-weight nature of the deck structure. Helical Pier will be drilled into the ground without needing any excavation. Design solutions proposed by EIDS Consultants were well-received.
